The Access City Award is the European prize for making cities more accessible to people with disabilities and older people. For its efforts to make the city accessible in harmony with the overall environment and landscape, Viborg is awarded with the special prize for accessibility of cultural heritage in the category of cities with over 50 000 inhabitants.
