The Access City Award is the European prize for making cities more accessible to people with disabilities and older people. Because it has not only made the historical city centre accessible to all, but also done this in harmony with the overall environment and landscape, the Access City Award jury has decided to award Viborg with the new special mention “Accessibility in a historical setting”.
