Innovation policies: TRENDCHART

The "European TrendChart on Innovation" is an instrument developed by the European Commission to draw a wide-ranging overview of innovation policies across Europe.

The Lisbon Strategy makes particularly important to measure and compare the innovation performance of EU countries and to promote a constructive dialogue between stakeholders.

The "European TrendChart on Innovation" provides policy makers and managers with statistics, performances and trends on innovation policies in Member States.

It is built around three blocks:

• The Survey of Innovation Policyto track national policies
• The European Innovation Scoreboard to compare national innovation performances
• The Innovation Policy review as a policy learning support tool helping the exchange of good practices
