Services
The JREC secretariat offers a number of supporting services to the JREC Co-Chair and Members.
Firstly it compiles a list of major events and conferences which are relevant to JREC Members (See News and Conferences). Secondly, it facilitates consultations and joint actions between Members by providing strategic guidance and scheduling international meetings (See JREC Strategy and Roadmap). Thirdly, it prepares minutes and summary information notes for general information purposes and to help briefing senior officials and Ministers on JREC (See Downloadable documents and glossary of terms).
Finally, the European Commission is sponsoring the following projects to support the JREC objectives as well as to compliment the activities of a broad range of associated initiatives such as the EU EI, REEEP, GVEP, etc.
Note that the secretariat does not publish a list of Member contact points. Invitations for JREC meetings are delivered via the diplomatic network of the European Commission and the EU Member States. An internal list of focal points appointed by the Members is maintained for the purpose of developing and maintaining the Renewable Energy Policies and Measures Database (See above).
