It is with great pleasure that I welcome you here today for the European Rendez-Vous Cocktail in Cannes.
This year's Cannes Festival is an opportunity to reflect on the challenges we face and on the role of European cinema in a globalised world, where the audiovisual industry is still largely dominated by North American productions, both in Europe and throughout the world.
