The latest episode (17) of the podcast will discuss how to show data on maps and it will be split into two parts.

For this episode/podcast, host Jonathan Elliot is joined by Joseph Davies, data visualisation specialist at Eurostat, Hannes Isaak Reuter, statistical officer at Eurostat, Riccardo Sgaramella, coordinator of the EU Annual Report on the State of Regions and Cities and policy officer at the European Committee of the Regions, and Konstantina Michalopoulou, statistical and communication officer at Eurostat.

In the first part of the episode, we will explore how maps have shaped our awareness of the world. We will also discuss how maps have left political legacies, and how to communicate statistical concepts with maps effectively. Our guests will share the intricacies of such an undertaking.
