On the 13th of December, the AI HLEG held a workshop to advance the work on the draft AI Ethics Guidelines and Policy & Investment Recommendations, which are now increasingly taking shape.

Besides the 52 experts of the AI HLEG, the workshop was also attended by members of the AI HLEG reserve list, as well as a number of ad hoc experts and Commission officials while the members of the AI Alliance had the possibility to attend the introduction of the workshp via webstream.

The following video includes a wrap-up of the current state of play of the AI HLEG’s draft deliverables as well as a number of presentations on research programs conducted in the area of AI Ethics.

In the second half of the workshop, participants worked in groups addressing the key topics of the two deliverables.
