DGINS
Creation
The DGINS conference, short for Directeurs Généraux des Instituts Nationaux Statistiques in French, was established on 15 July 1953 in Luxembourg.
Aim
The DGINS conference is held once a year to discuss an important topic related to the statistical programme or the methods and processes used to produce European statistics.
It is hosted each year by a different national statistical institute (NSI) of the ESS.
The 2024 DGINS conference will take place in Estonia on 23 and 24 October 2024 and will focus on looking beyond official statistics and on new frontiers for NSIs and the ESS.
