Online information session on the 2021 Erasmus+ call on Centres of Vocational Excellence (CoVE)

The European Commission is organising an online session to explain the Erasmus+ funding opportunities available for the initiative on Centres of Vocational Excellence. The event is taking place from 9.30 to 12.30 CET.

Participants will be informed information on the VET policy context, the objectives of the Erasmus+ call and expected results, as well as on vocational excellence in the wider global context. Participants will also get advice on how to prepare and submit project proposals, and on the financial aspects of funding. The event will be opened by Commissioner Nicolas Schmit, European Commissioner for Jobs and Social Rights.

No registration is required. The event can be attended via web streaming. The web streaming includes an embedded Slido window that will allow you to raise questions and comments to the speakers. You may also connect directly to the event on Slido or go to go to Slido and enter code COVE2021.

Participants are invited to send their questions in advance. Questions can also be sent during and after the session.

Networking opportunities

Opportunities for networking among participants and potential project applicants will be announced during the event.

Background

The Erasmus+ calls 2021 and the programme guide have been published on 25 March 2021. The deadline for applications is 7 September 2021.

With a budget of 44 million EUR in 2021, this action supports the establishment and development of European platforms of Centres of Vocational Excellence, through international collaborative platforms, that contribute to regional development, innovation, and smart specialisation strategies, as well as to social inclusion.
