Following a collective agreement in 2008 between the trade unions and the dairy industry employer organisation, social partners highlighted the need for dairy sector employees to continuously develop their skills. As a result, in 2009 Arla Foods introduced a large-scale training and upskilling initiative for employees at its sites in Denmark. Kurt, an employee at Arla Foods, tells us about his experience.
