Description of the Organisation:
The Apprenticeship in Hospitality Scotland's (AHS) vision is to create a world- class, industry-led, hospitality apprenticeship programme aimed at young people to encourage them into the world of work in Hospitality & Tourism and this is exactly what has been created. Our purpose is to ensure that our programme will inspire, nurture and develop the next generation of highly skilled talent for the Scottish hospitality industry. AHS is open to 17-24 year olds and is underpinned by the Modern Apprenticeship Hospitality framework where, on completion, apprentices will be award a Level 2 in Hospitality Services through four different areas in the hotel: Housekeeping, Food and Beverage Service, Kitchens and Reception. In addition, upon successfully completing the first two years of AHS each apprentice will be awarded a further scholarship opportunity from HIT Scotland.
