Description of the Organisation:
IDAN is a private, non-profit VET centre supported by the Confederation of Employers and Employees in Industry and Service. The Centre has five main objectives: improving the competencies and skills of employees and companies through lifelong learning in the food, hospitality and culinary, automotive, building and construction, printing and media, and metal and machinery sectors; providing services to the Ministry of Education for the organisation of journeyman’s examinations (EQF level 4) and supporting companies that train apprentices; offering, organising and executing the recognition of prior learning in the National curricula in crafts and trades; enhancing research and development for crafts and trades; and enhancing the image of crafts and trades in society. IDAN offers over 150 Continuous Professional Development (CPD) courses per semester in all sectors (EQF levels 1-6).
