Description of the Organisation:
The Apprentice Training Centre in Performing Arts (CFA Métiers des arts de la scène) of the Lorraine National Opera House is a public institution combining company-based training and school-based education in the field of performing arts. The centre offers a one–year vocational education and training programme leading to a Bachelor degree in communication and the promotion of artistic creation, with a Major in operatic and orchestral professions. Since September 2018, they offer another Bachelor degree programme in communication and the promotion of artistry with a Major in audience and partnership development. Since its creation in 2008, around 60 employers have trained more than 200 apprentices. Over 70% of apprentices go into permanent employment according to a 6-month survey. The centre offers a response tailored to the specific needs of young artists and performing arts professionals, thereby facilitating their professional integration.
