The European Alliance for Apprenticeships is a multi-stakeholder initiative steered by the European Commission. The originator of the pledge is solely responsible for implementing the actions outlined in the pledge.

Description of the Organisation:
McDonald's is the world's leading global foodservice retailer with over 38,000 locations in over 100 countries. Approximately 93% of McDonald's restaurants worldwide are owned and operated by independent local business owners. McDonald's Corporation, along with its wholly-owned subsidiaries (McDonald's) and participating franchisees, joined the European Alliance for Apprenticeships to help improve access to vocational training for young people and pledged to offer 45,000 apprenticeships across Europe by 2025. These apprenticeships will be offered in Austria, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Switzerland, and the UK. McDonald's offers a range of apprenticeship programs at various levels so people of all ages and at all stages of their educational and professional journey can build a career, regardless of previous experience or qualifications.
