The European Alliance for Apprenticeships is a multi-stakeholder initiative steered by the European Commission. The originator of the pledge is solely responsible for implementing the actions outlined in the pledge.
Description of the Organisation:The Agency for Vocational Training, Guidance and Work (AFOL COMO) is the Vocational Training Centre of the Province of Como (CFP COMO). The Agency, a long-standing organisation that has been working in the field of professional training for 50 years, has its headquarters in Como, Via Bellinzona 88. AFOL COMO started offering training courses for apprentices in 2015, following the enactment of the National Law 81/2015 in which it was established that apprenticeships could lead to a particular qualification and a professional diploma. The course started with four apprentices in 2015-16 and by 2018-19 has increased to 27 apprentices. The Agency works in the field of initial training (EQF levels 3 and 4), in apprenticeship training, in training and professional development of adults and in job placement services and guidance services. CFP COMO operates in the following professional sectors: hairstyling/hairdressing and beauty, the catering/cooking sector, restaurant and bar service.
