The European Alliance for Apprenticeships is a multi-stakeholder initiative steered by the European Commission. The originator of the pledge is solely responsible for implementing the actions outlined in the pledge.
Description of the Organisation:Fundació Catalana de l'Esplai (Fundesplai) is an NGO created in 1984 to promote social inclusionand the responsible use of information and communication technologies among citizens, with a special focus on young people. We offer our training tools and our services to support educators and teachers, association representatives, environmental trainers, parents and young people willing to know more about leisure organizations, vocational education, etc. In addition to this, we support associations, centres of environmental education, primary and secondary schools, universities, local governments and administrations in general. In the past two years, we have developed an inclusive apprenticeship programme (Young People with Value. The goal of this programme is to bring young people back into an educational path and at provide them with new skills and competences to facilitate their re-integration in the labour market.
