Description of the Organisation:
IDEA is an agency dependent on the Department of Economic Promotion and Employment of the City Council of Alzira (Valencia, Spain). IDEA aims to promote economic development and employment in the city. Working in a social context of difficult economic conditions, IDEA commits to offer comprehensive support to both the unemployed and entrepreneurs through different departments and services. The City Council participates in European projects and mobility programmes to provide international opportunities for young people, with the aim of increasing employment opportunities in Alzira. In addition, annual scholarships are offered for trainings abroad to promote the employability and professional development of local citizens and promote apprenticeship schemes and the cross-border mobility of apprentices.
