Unlike other regions, it does not have its headquarters located on its own territory, but in Prague. It is the largest region in the Czech Republic. The region aims to support the development of secondary vocational education and training as an integral part of regional education, focusing on its modernisation, stabilisation and modification to meet the current and future needs. The main strategic objective is to develop a stable segment of secondary VET as one of the key areas of regional education, which would affect the competitiveness of the region both within the Czech Republic and Europe.
