Description of the Organisation:
The Chamber (CCIS) represents the leading national business association. It comprises of the National chamber and 16 Regional Chambers in the Serbian territory. By the Law on Chambers, Chamber members are all registered legal entities on Serbian territory, (more than 120,000 companies and entrepreneurs). All activities conducted at the Serbian Chamber System are dedicated to the support of the Serbian economy – the development of sustainable and export-oriented market economy through measures promoting business start-ups and strengthening of the existing companies. The Chamber system also provides support and services to its members and potential members regarding business information, economic policy, finance, insurance, foreign economic relations, fairs and exhibitions, market opportunity, quality management, research and development (R&D), training and education, innovation, IT, etc. CCIS is a prominent partner in improving educational policy and the development of life-learning.
