The European Alliance for Apprenticeships is a multi-stakeholder initiative steered by the European Commission. The originator of the pledge is solely responsible for implementing the actions outlined in the pledge.
Description of the Organisation:Unioncamere Piemonte is the regional Chamber of Commerce in Piedmont, North-west Italy. Unioncamere Piemonte handles and represents the interests and pursues the common objectives of the Chambers of Commerce system (and its 435,000 companies) in a regional context, promotes the joint performance of the functions, services and powers of the Chambers of Commerce and coordinates relations with the regional government. It should be noted that the recent reform of the law of the Italian Chambers of commerce (D.Lgs 219/2016) put Vocational Education and Training (VET) at the heart of the functions of the new Chambers. In the area of apprenticeship, Unioncamere Piemonte recently signed a MoU with the regional government (in Italy, by Italian Constitution, regions have a fully and complete legislation about apprenticeship) to spread the opportunity of apprenticeships for young people to local SMEs.
