The European Alliance for Apprenticeships is a multi-stakeholder initiative steered by the European Commission. The originator of the pledge is solely responsible for implementing the actions outlined in the pledge.
Description of the Organisation:The ANAEPA - The National Association of Artisans in Construction, Decoration, Painting or Similar - founded in 1950, is one of the main trade associations of Confartigianato (the national association of craftsmen and micro and small enterprises). It represents the crafts enterprises working in the construction industry, whose work entails the more complex activities of construction and renovation, maintenance and reparation, as well as completion and finishing tasks (e.g. paving and painting). In particular its aims are: (1) to promote effective organization of artisans working in the construction field; (2) to represent artisans when signing collective national work contracts for the employees of the construction sector; (3) to protect and assist the crafts enterprises and strengthening their organisation in terms of economic, technical and professional capacity and especially for undertaking training initiatives. ANAEPA together with the Labour Unions participates in the signing of national agreements on the apprenticeship conditions and requirements for the enterprises working in the artisan construction industry.
