Description of the Organisation:
The Chamber of Skilled Crafts for Frankfurt-Rhein-Main represents more than 32,000 entrepreneurs and 153,000 craftsmen from the Frankfurt-Rhine-Main metropolitan region. As a corporation under public law, they offer their members a wide range of support services - from setting up a business to company succession. The Chamber campaigns for better political framework conditions for businesses. It is obliged by law to support the authorities in promoting the skilled crafts sector by providing suggestions, proposals and expert opinions and to submit regular reports on conditions in the skilled crafts sector. The teams of apprenticeship counselling and skilled labour recruitment are there to help young people make the transition from school to an attractive vocational training programme in the skilled crafts sector. At the same time, they are partners of the vocational training providers and answer questions about vocational training.
