Description of the Organisation:
The Food and Drink Training and Education Council (ftc) is a dedicated food industry skills charity and is the parent company of a group including the Institute of Meat (IoM) and FDQ. IoM is the professional body for the meat industry and FDQ is the awarding organisation specialising in food and drink supply chain qualifications. FTC is committed to supporting meat and food businesses in the design and delivery of apprenticeships providing a range of technical and advisory services, this is supplemented by the Group functions of qualification development (FDQ) and in terms of professional body recognition for the Butchery that is provided by the Institute of Meat (IoM).
