FEAD Community Annual Conference

The conference took stock of the role and activities of the FEAD Community so far and also looked back at the lessons learnt from COVID-19 related crisis as well as its long-term impact. It focused particularly on tackling homelessness.

The FEAD Community Annual Conference, which took place both online and in Brussels, is part of a cycle of capacity-building seminars aimed at improving the Fund for European Aid to the Most Deprived (FEAD) delivery at national, regional and local level.

Participants also had the opportunity to exchange on the implementation of the accompanying measures through support provided under the relevant specific objectives of the ESF+, and how they can be integrated with food and basic material assistance, focusing particularly on how tackle homelessness.

Participants

The Annual Conference was open to up to 100 participants from across the European Union, thus local, regional and national stakeholders involved in the implementation of FEAD, including: managing authorities, intermediate bodies, beneficiaries providing support and their partners (e.g. municipalities), civil society organisations and representatives from the European Commission.
