Legislation as of 2025
The new regulation on statistics on agricultural input and output (SAIO) will apply from 1 January 2025. It consolidates and streamlines a number of existing and separate regulations and ESS agreements listed at the end of this section, and will replace them.
In so doing, the SAIO regulation reforms and enlarges the collection of input and output statistics and makes obligatory the collection and dissemination of datasets some of which were previously voluntary.
