This self-driven Working Group launched in February 2021 is chaired by PES Sweden with the objective of establishing a dedicated arena for mutual learning for people working operatively with labour market taxonomy.

The group recognises that even if practices differ across PES, many of the challenges and opportunities faced by PES are quite similar. PES are facing similar labour market changes across Europe, notably through developments such as the green and digital transitions. This leads to the need for harmonised labour market taxonomies.

The group of 12 participating PES has been meeting three times a year to share best practices, explore innovation and new technologies and discuss topics such as the adaptation to ESCO, reducing complexity and how to keep up with developments in the labour market.

The next meeting is planned on 5 October 2022. Attendance is restricted to the members of the group.
