Analytical publications and seminars are published and organised on an ad-hoc basis, related to fair green and digital transitions.

Fair transition working papers

Fair transition working papers present analytical outcomes providing new evidence or insights and policy-relevant conclusions of in-depth in-house analytical work and, where relevant, joint projects, notably with other services of the European Commission and other stakeholders. Their main aim is to disseminate the outcomes of policy analysis and research, thereby informing the Commission’s policy-making activities and contributing to academic and policy debates.

Fair transition policy briefs

Fair transition policy briefs present descriptive analysis of recently published data or relevant legal or political developments, accompanied by short text which offers an opportunity to easily present and access evidence on various developments and challenges in the EU and beyond. Their main aim is to provide a special focus on a particular subject and spotlight on key findings from on-going public debate, country knowledge and research.

Fair transition seminars

Fair transition seminars have a lead speaker on a particular forefront topic, in a similar style of Ted Talks, to feed analysis and research programming and stimulate further debate, followed by a Q&A session.
