ISA² - Interoperability solutions for public administrations, businesses and citizens

The single digital gateway goes live on 12 December

Exactly two years after the regulation came into force, the single digital gateway will be launched on 12 December under the name “Your Europe”.

Citizens and businesses will from now on benefit from a wealth of quality information on the Single Market by entering the query in the brand new gateway search tool, which not only links to information on Commission portals but also to thousands of national pages.

In case users are still confused about rules or procedures, they will be guided to the EU or national assistance service most suited to address their problem. All users - be it at European or national level – will be able to give their feedback on the quality of the information provided and are therefore invited to use the feedback to shape future developments on the respective page. All pages are monitored for quality and accuracy at EU and national level.

Problems with internal market rights can now be reported through a specific feedback tool so that policy makers can pick them up and define new policies.

The Your Europe logo, which is placed on all pages that are part of the gateway, will highlight their reliability, as a seal of quality.
Overall, the single digital gateway will make it easier for citizens and business users to take advantage of the single market.

What's next? By the end of 2023 at the latest, citizens and businesses will be able to carry out 21 procedures in all EU member states without physical paperwork, e.g. for registering a car or asking for pension benefits.
