Programme for ISA² Mid-Term Conference published!

The programme of the ISA² Mid-Term Conference: Linking Public Administrations, Businesses and Citizens organised by the European Commission’s ISA² Programme is now available. The EU Commissioner for Digital Economy and Society, Mariya Gabriel, and the Head of Department for Digital and eGovernment at Austria’s Ministry for Digital and Economic Affairs, Peter Kustor, will open the event. Mário Campolargo, Deputy Director-General of Directorate-General for Informatics at the European Commission, will present the progress of the ISA² Programme. The conference will take place on 29 November 2018 at the cultural house Flagey in Brussels, and will be facilitated by the stand-up comedian Louis Zezeran.

Gathering representatives of public administrations in the EU Member States, EU institutions and the private sector, the event will feature achievements of the ISA² Programme and its future until 2020 and beyond. Participants will have the opportunity to visit a large exhibition on ISA² solutions and related projects. The conference will end with the closing speech by Gertrud Ingestad, Director-General of Directorate-General for Informatics at the European Commission.

Back-to-back with the conference, the ISA² Programme is organising a kick-off workshop on the ISA² Interim Evaluation on 30 November in Brussels. The aim is to present the rationale, objectives and scope of the interim evaluation and to discuss the role that stakeholders can play in contributing to the overall quality of the programme.
