New PM² Methodology Guide for project managers published

The new PM² Methodology Guide is now available in the EU Bookshop. This 3rd edition of the open project management methodology supported by the ISA² Programme comes with a number of changes and reflects the collective work achieved in the past years. The aim of PM² is to enable project teams to manage their projects effectively and deliver solutions and benefits to their organisations and stakeholders. 

What's new?

• The internal edition for the European Commission and the open edition have been merged and will be maintained as a single publication further on. This is because PM² does not reflect only the practice of the European Commission but integrates feedback from other European institutions and many external stakeholders.
• PM² guide is now completed with critical information to enable adopting organisations to manage portfolios, programmes and PM² projects.
• It comes with a selection of efficient tools for project managers as well as with the special focus on the behaviours of a good project manager.
• PM² keeps a strong bond with the domain-specific Agile methods such as Agile @ EC.

PM² is an easy to implement methodology suitable for any type of project. It has been custom developed to fit the specific needs, culture and constraints of EU Institutions, but also incorporates elements from globally accepted best practices, standards and methodologies.
