The Interoperability Academy has launched three courses

After the successful launch last year for the first Interoperability Winter School and the publication of the catalogue of educational resources, our Interoperability Academy action has reached a new milestone with the release of its first courses on the EU Academy platform

The goal of the Academy is to gather learning resources from the ISA² together with material produced by CEF programme in order to create a unique access point to all educational interoperability resources. 
These three courses are now available:

European Interoperability Framework (EIF)
This course raises awareness around the importance of interoperability for the delivery of integrated public services. The main aim of the course is to provide a solid understanding of the main areas covered by the EIF with the goal of achieving fully integrated digital public services by Member States and any public administration. The main intention is to provide a good understanding of the main components of the EIF and how to apply them in a real-world scenario. The course is meant to be accessed by different profiles working in the digitalisation and integration of public services domain, i.e. policy makers, professionals, academics, civil servants.

Data Visualisation
The main aim of the course is to provide a solid understanding about different ways you can visualise data. This course will help participants to: 

  • Understand how data visualisation works 
  • Choose the right chart type 
  • Use text and integration of visualisation in publications
  • Combine storytelling with chart design
  • Identify and sue lesser known chart types.

Access to Base registries
The main aim of the course is to provide information about ISA² action Access to Base Registries (ABR). The purpose of ABR action is to ensure interconnection and access to the information in different types of base registries of Member States in order to be able to deliver cross-border and cross sector public services. At the end of this course, participants will be able to: 

  • Understand the purpose and outcomes of ABR action
  • Discuss about Solutions Architecture 
  • Describe how base registries are implemented in different Member States and they work that goes towards this endeavour
  • Summarise progress on specification/ data model for registry of registries.
