The improved version of Cartography of Reusable Solutions for Base Registries Interconnection is available on Joinup

Access to Base Registries

The Cartography of Reusable Solutions for Base Registries Interconnection – available as ABR Catalogue of Solutions on Joinup – provides information on more than 120 solutions from European Union (EU) institutions and other organisations, EU Member States (MS) and other countries, aiming to inspire people working on base registries and to facilitate re-use of suitable solutions.

The Catalogue is particularly interesting to representatives of the public sector, who are searching for specific information or guidelines on how to create and manage a base registry, interconnect it with other base registries on regional, national and/or cross-border level, etc. It will prove beneficial for MS representatives who have particular questions on legal, semantics, organisational, technical aspects or experience challenges in creating their own registry of registries (RoR).

This improved version of the ABR Catalogue of Solutions features a new, user-friendly, visual layout that brings out the content and search options. Users can now navigate throughout the Catalogue by selecting any of the intuitively categorised questions – based on user needs – and discover several solutions that meet their requirements. All solutions contain a brief description that informs users about the type of information they include, and provide highlights on the benefits users can gain by selecting and reusing them.

For example, a user who is looking for information regarding interconnection platforms that could be reused in their work on base registries, can easily identify the related Catalogue question ‘Do you need to create an interconnection platform?'. Then, with a simple click, the user is instantly presented with 16 solutions from 10 MS and 1 EU initiative.

Additional information on good practices, guidelines on interconnection, the current version of the specification of RoR, and a plan for RoR are available in the ABR Collection on Joinup.
