In the world of rapidly developing technologies, it is important to ensure that legislation takes into account potential ICT impacts and fosters the take-up of digital solutions. To exchange best practices on these topics, the Danish Agency for Digitisation and the ISA² Programme’s Legal Interoperability Team met on 15 November 2019.

The discussed topics included:

• legislation screening to identify ICT and interoperability impacts of law and to assess its digital-readiness
• IT tools supporting the screening activity to reduce the burden and streamline the screening activity
• the concept of legislation-as-code
