World Food Day 2021 - Foodathon

As the EIP-AGRI Network has become part of the EU CAP Network, this website will no longer be updated after 1 April 2023. It will remain available in a static form as a reference of all previous EIP-AGRI activities. In celebration of World Food Day 2021, EIT Food and JA Europe are organising a Foodathon on 13-15 October 2021.

The event is organised in partnership with EUROPEN, with the support of Bayer and FoodDrinkEurope.

During the Foodathon, 100 students from secondary schools in Africa and Europe will have the mission to come up with solutions to a range of crucial agrifood challenges and generate new business ideas. They will have less than 36 hours to come up with creative ideas and a convincing plan to pitch to a jury of international experts. The winners of the competition will be announced during the award ceremony on 15 October.
