"Sustainable farming for peatlands" is a European conference organised by the Interreg NWE Carbon Connects project. Carbon Connects aims to reduce the high carbon footprint of peatland soils in Northwest Europe by introducing new bio-based business models developed for sustainable land management practices.

This two-sessions webinar will focus on challenges to:

restore degraded peatlands,
solutions to maintain a sustainable agriculture in those lands
and how to support it through financial incentives mechanisms and new bio-based business models.

The conference will bring together farmers, landowners, researchers, advisors, stakeholders from all over North West Europe to discuss challenges and opportunities to support the restoration of peatlands.
