Also known as potting soil, growing media are highly innovative material mixes tailor-made for each crop and each growing condition. These sustainable food production techniques increasingly play a crucial role in feeding the world´s population, while resources become scarcer. During the COVID-19 crisis, the growing media value-chain demonstrated its strong resilience ensuring continuous supply of raw materials needed to grow fruits and vegetables.
