Best4Soil online conference

It is harvest time for the Best4Soil project. In their online conference on 16 February 2022 they will showcase the project results with the help of many dedicated people all over Europe you can take part and join the discussion. 

As we all know, healthy soils are the basis of any sustainable farming system. They are the basis of healthy plants and thereby for healthy people. That's the reason why healthy soils are also at the centre of the Best4Soil network, which was established 3 years ago.

Since then, they have created videos, factsheets and tools all around the issues of soil health, soil borne diseases, nematodes and crop rotation. And all that information is already available in 22 languages - for free!

And now, close to the end of the project period, Best4Soils has created a vibrant conference programme packed with passionate practitioners, eminent scientists, experienced advisors and committed politicians – all aiming to achieve what is Best4Soil. 

A famous TV cook, farmer, beekeeper and member of the European Parliament will show how healthy soils correlate with healthy nutrition. Practitioners will share their experience about how they manage soil health on their farms, using green manure and cover crops, compost, anaerobic soil disinfestation and the Best4Soil Decision Support Tool for managing soil borne diseases. And if you always wanted to know what underpants can tell about the vitality of your soil, they’ve got you covered.
