Commissioner Damanaki discussed sustainability of the oceans with Pascal Lamy
Commissioner Damanaki met on January 28th with Mr Pascal Lamy, former Commissioner for Trade and former Director-General of the World Trade Organisation (WTO). Mr Lamy is also a member of the Global Ocean Commission (GOC), a high level panel established in 2013 focusing on ocean governance in order to restore healthy oceans and sustainable productivity. This meeting between Commissioner Damanaki and Mr Lamy was a good opportunity to exchange views on ocean affairs and fisheries.
