Meeting with FAO Director-General Mr Jose Graziano da Silva
Commissioner Damanaki met in Brussels with Mr Jose Graziano da Silva, the Director-General of the Food and Agriculture Organisation of the United Nations (FAO). Discussions covered cooperation with the Food and Agriculture Organisation, as well as a specific focus on the fight against illegal, unregulated and unreported (IUU) fishing, cooperation in the Regional Fisheries Management Organisations (RFMOs) and specific programmes and regional projects.
