EP largely supports EU-Mauritania FPA
The European Parliament has voted in favour of the EU-Mauritania Fisheries Partnership Agreement today, with an important majority of 467 votes in favour.
Commissioner Damanaki commented this positive outcome: "The new Protocol ensures environmental sustainability and fairness , benefits the EU fishermen, and offers good value for money to EU taxpayers".
