NACE section > Correspondence table REVAMP EN

Correspondence tables are important tools for comparing statistical data collected and presented using different classifications. They become necessary when the classification changes over time, or when different underlying frameworks do not allow classifications to be closely related.

Correspondence tables between different versions of the same classification are used to describe the detailed changes that have taken place in the revision process.

As NACE is used for the collection and presentation of statistics in many areas, there is a strong need for correspondence tables between the current NACE and its previous version as well as NACE and other classifications.
