Glossary:Prison personnel

Prison personnel includes prison guards and other staff in official penal or correctional institutions, such as prisons, reformatories or penitentiaries. Prison guards search, supervise, escort, observe and control prisoners, maintain security of prisons, etc. Other staff includes management, education, training, health treatment, maintenance, cooking, etc.
