EU vervollständigt Vorbereitungen für möglichen Austritt ohne Abkommen am 12. April
Da es immer wahrscheinlicher wird, dass das Vereinigte Königreich am 12. April ohne Abkommen aus der Europäischen Union austritt, hat die Europäische Kommission heute ihre Vorbereitungen auf ein solches sogenanntes No-Deal-Szenario vervollständigt.

The provisional agreement reached today by the European Parliament, the Council and the European Commission revises the European rules on social security coordination to ensure that they remain fair, clear and easier to enforce.

Brexit Preparedness: European Commission adopts final set of “no-deal” contingency measures for social security coordination rules
Given the increasing risk that the United Kingdom may leave the EU on 30 March this year without a deal (a “no-deal” scenario), the European Commission has today adopted a final set of contingency proposals in the area of the Erasmus+ programme, social security coordination and the EU budget.

Celebrating EU labour mobility: 60 years of social security coordination and 50 years of free movement for workers
The Commission launched a campaign celebrating several big milestones of the European integration, as the year 2018 marks the 60th anniversary of EU rules on the coordination of social security systems, and the 50th anniversary of the founding regulations on freedom of movement for workers.

Updated MISSOC information on national social protection systems now available
Updated information (up to January 2018) on social protection systems in all EU countries, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland – including brief descriptions of their organisation and information on the social protection of the self-employed – is now available on the MISSOC website.
