La ville de San Cristóbal de La Laguna remporte l’Access City Award 2024 pour être devenue plus accessible aux personnes handicapées
Aujourd’hui, la ville espagnole de San Cristóbal de La Laguna a remporté le premier prix de l’Access City Award 2024, pour son approche globale de la question de l’accessibilité et son engagement à améliorer la qualité de vie des personnes handicapées. La ville a été récompensée ce matin par la commissaire chargée de l’égalité, Helena Dalli, lors de la cérémonie de remise des prix de l’Access City Award.

Access to essential services: key challenges for the most vulnerable – report
According to the Commission’s report, people at risk of poverty or social exclusion in the EU have difficulties in accessing essential services such as energy, transport and digital communication. The report, the first-ever on this issue, sheds light on the structural challenges these groups face in using such services and underlines the need to ensure that the society-wide green and digital twin transition is fair and inclusive.
