The Pact for Skills, one of the actions under the European Skills Agenda, aims to mobilise and encourage all relevant stakeholders to take concrete actions for the upskilling and reskilling of people of working age, and, when relevant, cooperate through partnerships.

On 10 November Vice-President Shinas, Commissioner Schmit (jobs and social rights) and Commissioner Breton (single market) will take part in an online launch event of the Pact. There, with high-level representatives of industry, social partners and other relevant stakeholders they will discuss the importance of upskilling and reskilling for Europe and all people of working age.

The event is organised as part of the European Vocational Skills Week 2020.
