FEAD Community – Thematic Seminar on integrated approachs to support beneficiaries towards social inclusion

The seminar - aimed at creating synergies between the Fund for European Aid to the Most Deprived (FEAD) and other funds - explored how to design and implement integrated approaches to support the social inclusion of beneficiaries. It showed examples of effective partnerships working between public, private and third sector organisations.

The seminar provided an opportunity to identify and discuss innovative, promising or good practices from the Spain (host country) as well as from other Member States, and also to look ahead towards the new programming period and ESF+.

It included panel discussions with interactive workshops, providing opportunities for maximising communication between participants and focused on:

  • how to create synergies and implementing integrated approaches to support end recipients;
  • practices in place related to partnership working between public institutions and third sector organisations.

Participants

The seminar gathered participants representing local, regional and national stakeholders involved in the implementation of FEAD, including: Managing Authorities, Intermediate Bodies, beneficiaries providing support and their partners (e.g. municipalities), independent experts, civil society organisations and representatives from the European Commission.
