Representatives from 17 winning cities of the Access City Award (ACA) met on 20 September in Breda, Netherlands to exchange best practices and provide mutual inspiration on accessible tourism.

On 20 September 2019, representatives of ACA winning cities  were invited for a one-day event to discuss accessibility. The event took place in Breda, the winner of ACA 2019. 17 cities of the network sent representatives and other cities working closely with the city of Breda took part in the event.

Altogether, representatives from 20 cities and from local organisations had the opportunity to discuss accessible tourism, to exchange on their best practices and to provide mutual inspiration, to improve inclusion for persons with disabilities and elderly people.

The first annual meeting of the Access City Award network was launched in 2018 in the city of Lyon, winner of the ACA 2018.

The name of the 10^th ACA winner will be unveiled on 29 November, at the award ceremony in Brussels.
