Public consultation on the Regulation (EU) No 648/2012 on OTC derivatives, central counterparties and trade repositories

Objective

The European Commission is mandated to conduct a review of Regulation (EU) No 648/2012 on OTC derivatives, central counterparties and trade repositories (EMIR) in accordance with Article 85(1) thereof.

The purpose of the consultation is to obtain feedback from stakeholders on their experiences in the implementation of EMIR to date. Feedback received as part of the consultation will provide important guidance to the Commission services in preparing their final report.

Target group

All citizens and organisations are welcome to contribute to this consultation.

Please note that in order to ensure a fair and transparent consultation process only responses received through the online questionnaire will be taken into account and included in the report summarising the responses.
