See EEA disambiguation page for other meanings of EEA.

The European Environment Agency, abbreviated as EEA, located in Copenhagen, is the European Union (EU) body dedicated to providing sound and independent information on the environment.

Its mission is to help the EU and its member countries in making informed decisions about improving the environment, integrating environmental considerations into economic policies and moving towards sustainability. To do this, it provides a wide range of information and assessments. These cover the state of the environment and trends in it, together with pressures on the environment and the economic and social driving forces behind them.

The EEA has 39 member countries: see European Environment Agency.
