Glossary:Ozone depleting substance (ODS)
An ozone depleting substance, abbreviated as ODS, is a substance contributing to ozone (O3) depletion in the Earth’s atmosphere. These substances are listed in the Montreal Protocol which is designed to phase out their production and consumption.
